ALL-CARDS is a strategic storytelling game played with YOUR trading cards. Every kind of card is compatible: Magic, Pokemon, Tarot, Garbage Pail, even ALF cards! ALL-CARDS combines RPG collaborative storytelling with light TCG mechanics. Tell a story together using your cards, but compete over who gets to control the ending.
ALL-CARDS has two modes of play. In the competitive Duet Mode, two players use strategy and creativity to further the goals of their main character or stymie their opponent. In the single player Solo Mode, a player attempts to survive a hostile world from their imagination with only their cards and their wits.
Players build a deck from their own trading card collections and use this deck to advance the story of their main character. All players need to get started are the easy-to-read zine, D6 dice, and a pile of trading cards. Sports, CCGs, non-sports, and Tarot are all compatible, or get creative and design your own cards. After the players build their decks, they can jump right into their first game. No additional prep is necessary. No lore to learn. ALL-CARDS is designed to pick up and play and provides endless variety for players.
The 36 page rulebook includes a quick play guide, sample play sections, and story prompt generators. Throughout the book are "scans" of fake trading cards. Every aspect of the book was made by humans (no AI).
